Founder Rodolfo De Benedetti, starts Compagnia Italiana Tubi Metallici Flessibili (Italian Company Metallic Flexible Hoses) as a licensed agency of products under the BOA trademark.

1964 New Building

The new production facility and sales office was inaugurated in Turin, to improve service and for business expansion.

1972 Founding of Flexider/ Acquisition of Gilardini

Compagnia Italiana Tubi Metallici Flessibili changes its name to Flexider.
Carlo De Benedetti acquires the Gilardini Company, creating a new and powerful industrial group. Flexider becomes part of the Gilardini Group with the vision of becoming an industrial leader within its sector.

1976 Selling to FIAT

Carlo De Benedetti sells Gilardini to the Fiat Group

Start of the 1st- Generation flexhose for the Automotive Industry.
The first Flexider flex hose for a passenger car’s exhaust system was installed in the Fiat Lancia Integrale.

From September 1999 Flexider begin the manufacturing of automotive components for Fiat within the Fiat production facility in Tychy.

Flexider Automotive Europe, renown manufacturer of Flexible Hoses for Passenger and Commercial Vehicle exhaust systems, formally announces that it is now a subsidiary of the Tenglong Technology Group.
Tenglong, a leading Tier 1 supplier to the Asian Automotive OEMs is looking to expand their European footprint via Flexider Automotive with its manufacturing facility in Poland and Sales and Engineering offices in Germany, Italy, France and Holland.
